World Class Destination in A World Class Custom Built Log Lodge. The tranquil rural lands are 15 minutes outside of Port Alberni are on expansive private grounds with wilderness views.

This calming 3-night retreat is limited to a small group, to allow more meaningful connections and treatments as you relax and recharge. Register early to secure your spot.

Dr. Carmen Carpenter

Dr. Carmen Carpenter is a Doctor of

Chinese Medicine, graduated Valedictorian

from Pacific Rim College in Victoria BC. She

became interested in alternative health while studying Anthropology at the University of Calgary and is now registered as a DTCM with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of BC.

Dr. Carmen has always had an interest in medicine from a young age, and has found a way to make it a part of her life. Through a family friend she discovered Chinese Medicine and its power to work with the individual. As the owner of Goji Wellness Clinic, Dr. Carmen fosters the idea that healing emerges from within, and she works to empower her clients to tap into their body's innate capacity for healing. With a love for nature and the outdoors, she also integrates elements of nature into her practice, recognizing the connection between environmental harmony and personal well-being.

When not in the clinic, you can often find Carmen either exploring the island or at a beach with one of the many dogs in her life!

Host, Sound Bath Pracitioner, Ali Way Art

Ali Perry-Davies

Alison Perry-Davies is a practitioner of Sound Therapy and Creative Art Therapy with diplomas in Holistic Integrated Creative Art Therapy (HICAT), Ministry, and Theology. She also holds an advanced diploma in Human Resource Management and advanced certification in Vibrational Healing and Sound Therapy. Ali is certified in Humanistic approach counselling and Fathers heart prayer counselling, and she has completed courses in Streams ministries (The Art of Hearing God) and is currently studying Somatic Integrated Trauma Therapy. With 30 years of experience in music and music therapy, Ali has worked extensively in the disability community, including in group homes, day programs, and as a Disability Case Manager. She is a best-selling author, having co-authored three books and written her own book, "The Art of Healing Trauma: Finding Joy Through Creativity, Spirituality, and Forgiveness." Ali is also set to launch her children's books, "Ginger and The Fun Bunch" as part of the "Don't Be Scared, Be Prepared" collection. While healing with a brain injury and PTSD, Ali delved deeper into all that is possible and is now sharing this with others. In addition to her work in therapy and writing, Ali has served in ministry in counseling and worship leading roles for over fifteen years. She is known for her compassion and commitment to seeing people healed and living to their full potential. Ali is a sought-after speaker, teacher, and retreat facilitator, dedicated to helping others live their best life.

Anita Voth

Anita is the mother of 3 wonderful young adult children and has been a business owner for over 30 years. From starting a business in Adventure Travel to currently owning her own business as a financial advisor and business administrator, Anita would sum herself up as a "Humanitarian with a Sense of Adventure".

Over the past 13 years she has had the privilege of teaching finance classes to women and families, is also a published author and over the past 10 years she has sat on several non-profit boards including Shape Your World Society (SYWS).

She is also a certified NLP Master Practitioner and Certified Identity By Design Trainer, and has spent the last 15 years focusing on her own personal development through a variety of courses and programs.

Qi Gong Practitioner Student

Rebecca Westle

Rebecca Westle is a second year Qigong Practitioner student (therapist level). She is inspired by the power of these ancient teachings on how to cultivate a more balanced energy state and connect to our deeper knowing.

Rebecca has a degree in Health Information Science and is grateful for her career in the public sector but has been searching for a more personally meaningful role helping others. When her naturopath and acupuncturist introduced her to qigong, she knew it was the right path to embark on.

Qigong is a supportive therapy that works at the spiritual, emotional, and physical levels of the body and can help clear stagnant energy and tonify areas of depletion. Rebecca approaches each treatment session with her gentle nature and a deep caring respect for the client’s own healing journey.

Victoria, B.C., is Rebecca’s hometown and one of her favorite activities is exploring local beaches and going for cold water dips.
